This Guilin is not the one in my impression.
We flight to Guilin at the end of November, technically that's not the best season of Guilin, and that it is.
No brightly sun, no foggy rain, no ladies in classical dress.
Guilin is a city now. Typical developing Chinese small city. The famous Elephant Trunk Hill is a park in the down town. Actually every view spot is a park now. So many people come from the whole planet rush to every corner, make each inch fill with foot prints.
Ok, my complaint go away now.
Though as a city Guilin is not good enough, but is still a destination that has much power of attraction.
Day 1.
Went to airport and take the air line at 10:00pm. When we arrive at Guilin, a lady with big smile serve us and she would be our guide in the next 3 days.
A small bus drive us to the hotel, may be the best host in this city, by the side of Lijiang, our window is facing to this famous river.
Once we move our bags to the room, we ran into the night life of south city. Not like Beijing, there're so many people in the street, nobody care about the time is 2:00am. We have the Chongshan rice noodle as our first Guilin local food. One bowl of noodle and two beer gave us a good sleep:)

In one word, we visit four park and one cave in one day! The most impressive is the Elephant Trunk Hill park, I can't tell what different about the other 3. The cave is named Ludiyan, there were so many famous people visited this cave but I think the distance from Guilin downtown is a important reason.
So there's nothing more to talk about except tiredness. But the dinner is amazing, foods are dilicious and local wine are unforgetable, that Guilin Sanhua (means three flowers), we drank a lot and walked hotel like duck.
Day 3.
The point of this day is Lijiang river, we will tour it by ship, from Guilin to Yansuo, about 50km.
In this 3 hours trip, we should enjoy the sence over the river, but we lost our lucky on the table in my office, it's foggy and we can only see a little short distance and anyother things are white, no blue sky, no smoke-like fog, just a piece of blank canvas, they forgot to panit something on it.
That disappoint me again. I can't take photos I should, nothing but cold.

Mirroring?But in this evening, we're shocked by the view we saw when we get out of our hotel. The mountain are lighted by spot lights, it seems like there're large Chinese paints in the sky, only white and black, floating in the air.
We came to watch YinXiangLiuSanJie, a big show directed by ZhangYimou, the director of 2008 Beijing Olympic games. Some one says that's impressive but I can't agree, there's nothing but people, thousands of people. Zhang should want robots more than human being.

A naked girl!This is our last night in Guilin, we can't waste it. So we went to the night market, XiJie (means West street). It's raining but we checked every bar in this street and finally found one which not so noisily. We want to drink in peace only. Yeah, we're drinker ^O^))
Day 4.
The last day, we're backing to Beijing this afternoon.
We came to another cave in Yangsuo, it's larger than the one in Guilin, and found a rock very special, I can't tell, you know it.
And a big lunch, offered the last rice noodle, and kicked back to Bejing. Facing to more and more works.
Snow? Waterfall? no, rocks.
