Yellow trees in grassland, The beautiful Wulanbutong

This National Days, We went to Inner Mongolia for the silver brich, It's really beautiful in the autumn. Our destination is a small town named Wulanbutong. I've been there last summer holiday, but it's worth for travell again.

Wulanbutong is about 400km from beijing, for 4-5 hours driving, but we spent a whole day but just arrived Zhenglanqi, the capital of early Yuan dynasty. Becaus the scape over the road is so beautiful and we cannot keep going, we drive and stop, and take photos time and time again.

Zhenlanqi is new county of Xilin Gol League, it does not means a new place but the city is builded recently, not far from 20 years, but as a ancient city, it's the first capital of Yuan dynasty, and it's the first city on the great grassland. There's a large square in the center of city, and a statue of Kublai Khan in the center of the square.

It's a little cold in Zhenglanqi in the first October days, the autumn comes earlier in the north of China. We looked for hotels over the city, but none of them has air condition. We will told they do not need ac, the summer is very cool and refreshing, and when winter comming, they have a very perfect heating system. But we were bad lucky, the heating system was maintenancing... At last, we found 2 room facing to south, that makes us warmer. And the sun shine on the next morning is very beatiful, we like that and didn't want get up, so, we slept over 10:00am and then climbed out of the quilt. After we found our breakfast, it was 11:30am -_-#

We marched to another county Duolun. and found an amazing pool on the roadside, after we get off the car, we realized it's the rear of the Duolun Lake. The color of the leaves is between green and yellow, that's a color hardly to describ. The blue sky, the yellow trees, the lake, I just want to hold them in my arm.

Leaving Duolun, we turned north, heading the final destinaion Wulanbutong. drive along the X503

Sorry for wait (is there any?) but I'm back here again!

On the way to Wulanbutong, we were shocked by the amazing sence over the road, the small hills, the round sheep, the red sunset. We stoped to enjoy the whole world, nothing but the nature and us, smelling the clean air. So it's dark till we finally arrived Wulanbutong. That cause a bad situation, there's no room for us in any hotel. We drive around the small town agian and again, fortunately we contacted some one in radio and he offered us one room in a farmhouse, yea, 4 people in one room...

But when it gets dawn, we surprisingly found it's so beautiful in this little village, the moon still hang on the space, but it's getting bright on the east. Many people drive and climb to the hill to watch the run rise.

We had breakfast in the farmhouse lazily, then begin our one mystical day. I cannt say one more word than the pictures, here it comes.

We parked in a secluded spot and have our picnic. Then lie down on the lawn for a while. Watching the clean blue sky through the yellow cedars, birds crossed haply, time stopped and there's nothing we can hear but the sound and our breath.

After the rest for one thousand years, we leave for our way home.

We back to Zhenglanqi, back to that hotel again, choose a comfortable apartment, sleep and dream.
